Lingsoft has won the call for tenders by the Publications Office of the European Union for the Editorial assistance in production, translation and maintenance of the summaries of EU legislation. The contracted service includes continuous monitoring of the evolution of EU law and policies and their interpretation by the Court of Justice of the EU, drafting and updating the summaries and translating them into 23 official EU languages.
The summaries inform on the main aspects of the European legislation, policies and activities in a clear, easy-to-read and concise way. They are intended for a general, non-specialized audience and cover 32 topics corresponding to the activities of the European Union. The collection of Summaries is published in the Web portal for access to EU law, Eur-Lex: http://eur-lex.europa.eu/browse/summaries.html.
The contract expands and strengthens Lingsoft’s cooperation with EU institutions.
